Members of the CAB, ECAB, and Change Management groups can manually approve any change record regardless of assignment group or change type.

The Change Advisory Board (CAB), Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB), and authorized Change Management Members are empowered to approve all types of changes, including emergency changes.

  • CAB reviews and approves normal and major changes.
  • ECAB approves emergency changes to restore or protect services, with follow‑up review by CAB.
