Hello All,
I am exploring Digital Service Delivery and while creating a new Product I noticed two fields:
Configuration Item (CI)
Type (with options Service and Product)
I would like to understand:
Why are these fields present?
What is the relationship between a Product and its linked CI?
What is the significance of selecting Service vs Product as the Type?
Additionally, I would like to clarify how custom policies are executed:
Do they run automatically based on defined conditions?
Or can they also be triggered manually?
