Recently, we had an update that caused my IT team to lose access to their report dashboards. This update also caused an error message when they were trying to select an end user when creating an incident. I included the second part as context to the update that broke our software. I am new to ServiceNow - How do I give them their access back? I have full admin control.

ahoy @WeighedBrass95,
could you possibly share that error message, also what role was it and some sort of context maybe? it's too general to give you any meaningful reply
Where the rules are real, you'll find me

Which Update you are talking about. is it Patch update or major upgrade - Which version you have.
Reason being I am asking , there is already a known error for Australia version release note:
Refer: All other Australia fixes
| Analytics Data API | PRB1967291 | After an upgrade, Platform Analytics reports and dashboards aren't able to viewed by users |
If you are not using Australia , share the error screen shot.
