Data Table from Instance Definition widget not showing records as in the backend list view.

Hello All,
We recently created new fields on the customized table. Based on these new fields, we added a filter on the Portal Data Table from the Instance Definition widget, but it is not showing records to the users earlier it used to show the records. However, in the backend, users can see all the records when the same filter is added to the table list view. In this scenario, "HR VP" is the new field, and when filtering by this field on the portal, data is not visible, whereas in the backend, it is visible. Please check the attached screenshot for reference.
What could be the issue behind this? Is it related to roles or ACLs?
Any help would be appreciated.
