Duplicate email notification

Hi All,

 

I have a notification on the SC task that triggers when a record is created or updated, with the condition that the Assignment Group changes and the Assignment Group is not empty. The notification should trigger when the Assignment Group changes. However, currently, when the SC task is created and the Assignment Group is set through the workflow, the notification is triggered twice. The issue is duplication of email notification.

 

Can anyone help with this?

There might be a process running behind the scenes involving the Assignment Group field. Whenever an update occurs through a workflow, it triggers a notification. Additionally, there are configurations that cause notifications to trigger when the Assignment Group is updated from other processes.

In this scenario, if you want to trigger a notification only when the Assignment Group changes, there is no need to add conditions for newly created records. The notification should only run on updates where the Assignment Group field is modified.

I appreciate your feedback. However, it's an intermittent issue because it's happening for some SC tasks, while for others, the notification is triggering only once.
