Field type configuration

Hello All,

 

We have made the "Change Request" field type on incident to the "List" type and changed the "Max length" size to 4000.

However, when I tries to revert it back the type and max length, Type get changed to "Reference" but the " Max length" is not getting changed, it throwing the error as shown in below screenshot

Does anyone have any idea? How to revert max length successful?

Yes it is reproducing and I was able to reproduce. In initial investigation I have not found any solution , will try to deep a bit down when time will permit.
