Get catalog variable action in flow designer

Hi!!

I have a requirement to create a record in particular table and I am planning to use flow designer for the design. When I am trying to get the variables using Get catalog variables action, there is no available variable in list showing.  What may be the reason and how to make it work?

To create a record in table, can we go for workflow?

@Keerthi Lakshmi , strategically the ServiceNow platform already has preconfigured and predefined templates that you can learn from and reuse. We don't advise building something from zero since it will take you to unexpected roadblocks and get stuck. Resulting in loss of productivity and value.

Approach it first by duplicating something that already works and closest to what you need, learn how it is created and replace the components respectively.

Hi @Keerthi Lakshmi

Can you please check if the variables in your catalog item are active or not ? Also, to create a record in table, you can create a flow itself. You can make use of Create Record action in flow to create an incident record.

Thanks and Regards

Hi @Keerthi Lakshmi,

Could you please the variable in Get Catalog Variables. Also you can select the different catalog item in flow in Template Catalog Item. After doing this for testing purpose you check this.
