hi @SonalTiwari ,
Welcome to the ServiceNow community!
Since you already have a Service Desk background, you're off to a good start because you'll already be familiar with Incident, Request, Change, and overall ITSM processes.
I'd recommend focusing on these areas first:
-
Learn the ServiceNow platform fundamentals (tables, forms, lists, users, groups, roles, and ACLs).
-
Get comfortable with Flow Designer before moving into scripting.
-
Once you're confident with the basics, start learning Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and GlideRecord.
-
Build a small personal application in a Personal Developer Instance (PDI). Hands-on practice is one of the best ways to learn.
Also, the free learning paths on ServiceNow's Now Learning portal are a great place to start, especially the System Administrator and Application Developer learning plans.
All the best with your ServiceNow journey!
If this solution helped, please mark it as the accepted solution. Thank you!
