I want to disable the active existing topic "View KB" in sys_cs_topic.list>View KB, but I can't deactivate it because it is read-only.
I've cloned the "View KB" topic and want to disable existing topics to avoid conflicts.
Please point out if you want to know how to do it or if there is a different way to do it.

@NatsukiO Admin cannot deactivate this topic or any other protected topic.
We have faced this for multiple topic in past , so you need to raise a HI case with ServiceNow, they will deactivate this topic and will capture that in an update set.
you can move that update set from your dev instance to other higher instances.

Hi @NatsukiO ,
You can duplicate the View KB OOTB topic via Virtual Agent Designer, then edit the duplicate as needed (rename, modify flow etc.), publish it, activate it, and use Custom Greetings & Setup under Virtual Agent > Conversational Interfaces to make your chat experience to the new one.....
and to hide or disable the original topic, you’ll need to remove it from any chat experience where it’s being used (so it’s no longer bound), then in sys_cs_topic try setting Active = false or Is Topic Visible = false (if editable), since many OOTB topics are read only...
