Incident life cycle validation with ATF

I have a task to design ATF in my PDI to validate the incident life cycle.
can any help me with the steps to create ATF for validation of incident life cycle.

there are lot of OOTB Tests which come with Incident ATF pack, you can refer those and copy and then enhance it as per your business requirements
