Why would you need to move a change task to another change? This doesn't seem to follow the change workflow. Each change get its own tasks out of the box. There should be no reason to move the change task to a different change.

Hi @Brian Ladd, Thanks for your response. We did this activity previously. Sometimes users create change request for this month but it may not go. So they will create a new CR for next month and move the tasks from old CR to new. But now, when I click the edit button and move the change task from left to right and hit the save button, nothing happens. No error message and no changes in the change task related list.

There appears to be no edit button out of the box for change tasks. Did you create one? If so can you provide the code you used?
When you say it may not go what does that mean? If it means it did not get approved or it was determined not to implement you can just change the dates and the change to the new dates and then make sure you go over the change in again for the new dates in Global CAB. That is what we do. Rather then creating a entire new change.

We enabled edit button via list control by selecting Enable edit.
