Hello !
Our business hours are 5a-7p M-F excluding holidays. So business days are 14 hours long based on the schedule applied to the SLA.
When you pull the business elapsed time into the report its calculating 24 business hours as 1 business day instead of 1 days 10 hours (bc business days are 14 hours)
For example: If
Start time of SLA is 2025-05-14 11:08
Stop time of SLA is 2025-05-27 15:55
The field Business elapsed time shows : 5 days, 10 hours , 46 minutes, instead of
9 business days, 4 hours and 46 minutes.
What is the way to calculate business elapsed time based on the calendar, so that one day equal 14 hours (which is the number of business hours in one business day) ?
Thanks a lot for your help !

The business elapsed time is a duration field and that value is stored in milli seconds. That means that the content is correct, based on the days (because it shows you how many milliseconds have elapsed within the business hours schedule). What is your business case for knowing the number of business days that has elapsed? It is showing the elapsed time and 24 hours is 1 day. It just means that you are shown 24 hours elapsed within your schedule, which means almost 2 days.

Hi Mark,
thanks for your answer, but we actually don't want the elapsed time based on a 24hours is 1 day, but based on OUR schedule (14 hours is 1 day) 🙂
Best regards
