It is not out ox box but can be automated if you have a valid use case and logic to identify which incidents should be attached to the change request.

You can create a Business Rule or Flow Designer action to perform this but check in the first place if you want to do this and would it make sense to improve your Change or Incident Management Process.

If this helped to answer your query, please mark it helpful & accept the solution.

Hi @RunaliP ,
Yes, it’s possible in ServiceNow, but it does not happen automatically out-of-the-box.

To achieve this, you can write a Business Rule / Script Include, UI Action, Workflow / Flow Designer.

So, yes, it’s possible, but you’ll need a small customization (Business Rule or Flow Designer action) to automatically associate multiple Changes to the same Incident.

@RunaliP

on INC form there are 2 fields which hold CHG

Caused by Change and Change Request and both are reference fields and can hold only 1 value.

That related list brings data from INC based on Change Request field.

This is OOTB behavior.

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi @RunaliP ,

Clarification on “Incidents Fixed by Change”

  • FYI, One change can fixed multiple incidents.

  • To properly reflect that a change has resolved an incident, the incident must be added under Incidents Fixed by Change. Once added, it will also be visible on the incident form under the Related Records tab. (Screenshot attached for reference.)
