Is report creation feasible for calculations without Performance analytics

Hi,

without PA , can these types of reports be created in ServiceNow as the below is a simple one but we have more complex ones .

In Basic Reporting module the reports are based on tables and fields  and the one below is not feasible.

In case feasible how complex it is to develop these calculations

Difficult to show a calculation without PA, but metric definitions can show you the data. Create a scripted one with start on created and end when it's assigned and create a report to show you all P1 results and one for all P1 results under 15 minutes.

On the other hand: if this is a KPI that needs to be measured, you can also utilize the SLA definitions. Create a response SLA on P1 incidents of 15 minutes and make a pie/donut report (which is showing the percentage) based on 'has breached'.

Hi @Mark Manders

Thanks yeah I mean we have SLA set up , but when we make reports simply it shows number of P1 incidents missed SLA (here as  you explained breached) but after that the calculations which has division and subtraction in my question as @AndersBGS explained then we might need some other tool or PA if I understood correctly.

Thanks

You will indeed need PA to get the percentage as a number. But if you create a pie chart or donut on completed SLA records for P1 incidents and do a group by on 'has breached' you have the results visualized and in the legend the percentages are shown.

Hi @Nisha30 ,

It depends on the calculation. If you need calculation add, multiply, devide or subtract, you can utilize function fields in a report through the report designer. Remember, this is only for calculations within specific record.

If you need calculation as you have shown above, then performance analytics is the way to go. In your picture you want to have a group of tickets divided with another group of tickets times 100. This is here that performance analytics comes to it place.
