Large space on Workspace landing page

I am working on creating a Workspace from scratch and there is this large space under the title and the first reports. I am unable to figure out how to get rid of this gap. 

Anyone know how to remove this?

please check the styles properties for the components around that highlighted area.

I did notice this had a large outline. 

I changed the max height but the space is still there.
