Hi Community,
We are using the CMDB to manage assets in our organization. I would like to know if there’s a way to view the complete assignment history of a computer — specifically, all the users it has been assigned to over time. Could someone guide me on how to achieve this?

Hi @RajeshS45028713,
This is easily achieved.
Simply navigate to the computer you wish to view the history of, open the record, and then from the menu (accessible via right clicking on the record header of click in the top left 'hamburger' menu icon) select 'History > List' as shown in screen shot 1 below.
Once the history is displayed, move your mouse pointer to the 'Assigned to' field, right click and select 'Show matching' (screen shot 2 below).
This will display all audited updated against the Computer record where the Assignted to field has changed as shown in screen shot 3.
To help others (and for me to gain recognition for my efforts), please mark this response correct by clicking on Accept as Solution and/or Kudos.
Thanks, Robbie

Hi Robbie,
Thanks for your response. I have followed all the steps suggested by you, but when I use Show Matching, it only shows the new records and not the old ones. Also, in the Type field, it is not showing Audit. Could you please guide me on how to implement this? Any help from you or anyone else would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rajesh
