Can you restrict Virtual Agent to a specific group or users?

We are looking to introduce Virtual Agent to our production instance.

Can we restrict Virtual Agent to only a specific group/groups or specific users?

Like I mentioned: If using Agent Chat configuration, you can easily use any combination user portal and roles. If wanting different specifics, like location/groups/etc, then you need to embed the widget to the portal header or footer. There you can use user criteria or edit the widget itself.

Hi Eric,

I am working on a similar requirement where the Agent Chat displays an unavailable message if the user is NOT located in US, MEX, or BRA. Can you pleas provide more details on how to display a specific message in the Chat based on the user's location?

Thanks all,

I now have requirement to create a tick field in user records for beta, if selected, then in the VA, we have a new welcome topic, which will check if the user is beta or non beta, if beta, the VA conversations will be displayed, else, the user will be routed to live agent.

How can this be done please?
