Hi all,
I work for a global organisation, 17,000+ employees across 35 countries and considering making use of Dynamic Translation. The only issues is that the recommended third party translators (IBM, Microsoft & Google) charge based on volume. I don't want to risk implementing something which could spiral into unbudgeted costs.
Does anyone use Dynamic Translation? What are the kinds of volume you're seeing?

Hi Shivambi,
No unfortunately not. We've even had to put the project back because of lack of clarity.

Hi Steve,
Here are some things that i found during my search for the details which might be helpful to you as well:
- https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/Translator/service-limits#character-and-array-li... Microsoft charges by number of characters sent in a request and not by volume of request.
- To create a translator resource, you will need a subscription and Api details https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/cognitive-services/translator/
- Here are the details of pricing and the free instance allows 2M chars which i think should be sufficient to make a connection and start testing with. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/cognitive-services/translator/
I have reached out to the azure team in our company to see if this is something that is included in any existing licenses for microsoft.
Warm Regards, Shivambi
