Dear community,
I am delighted to see AI Search now included with the platform as standard. Exploring all its capabilities to the smallest detail, I came to 2 questions I was not able to find an answer to myself regarding Genius Results, and would thus like to ask for your guidance.
- Are Genius Results also included as standard? This article mentions that Using NLU for Genius Result requires additional licenses. Therefore, I assume Genius Results will not work without the additional licenses. Is this correct?
- How does the NLU-based Genius Result differ from the GenAI-based Now Assist Q&A Genius Result? Is it only about the underlying technology (NLU vs. LLM), or do they also differ in the offered functionality? Are they mutually exclusive, or can we still get NLU-based Genius Results even if Now Assist Q&A Genius Result is enabled, for example, in cases where the NLU-based answer is better?
Thank you!
Filip

Hi @FilipVacula
1. Genius Results powered by NLU requires a Pro/Enterprise license.
2. Q&A Genius Results powered by LLM requires Now Assist, which comes with a Pro/Enterprise PLUS license. You can only have either LLM or NLU Genius Results. LLM Genius Results are now synthesized results that respond in natural language from multiple sources, with citations.
Hope this helps!
