'show me everything'/topic picker shows setup topics

Hello everyone,

whenever I click the 'show me everything' button in the virtual agent chat, it shows all topics and also some, but not all, setup topics.

I don't understand why it shows setup topics at all, they should not be presented in 'show my everything', right? Since they are setup topics, they should not be recognized through NLU at all.

 

The type of '[102] Begrüßung' is set to 'Setup Topic' but it is still showing in 'show me everything' this should not be the case, right? Is there any way to hide this setup topic from 'show me everything'?

Other setup topics are not being shown, that's why I don't get why this one is shown.

Hi there,

Not sure on this. My assumption was also that setup topics would not be presented in the Topic Picker.

Could you open the sys_cs_topic table, and add column "Is Topic Visible". Then search for your topic, and make sure the field is set to false.
(this is a method to hide topics from the Topic Picker up to Quebec, as of Rome this can be done through the Virtual Agent designer)

I fixed it. First you have to search for 'custom greetings and setup' and then click 'default chat experience'.

Then click on the setup topic that you want to hide. I highlighted it in yellow.

And then make sure that 'is system topic' is checked and then hit 'update'.
