Topic Discovery with NLU

Hello all. I am trying to set up a Virtual Agent on my PDI and am running into issues with getting NLU to play nice. I chose the topic from the dropdown list and I get this message saying the phrase isn't tied to the correct intent. However, I can find the topic just fine when I go to the portal where I have VA enabled. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Can it be fixed?

Hey good day!

This happens when you leave the checkbox 'Include topic discovery' at the top of the tester window checked. Uncheck this and you should get normal results!

When testing NLU, I recommend to do it from the Model first, then the portal once you've trained and published.

You can also test NLU from the 'Test Active Topics' button on the main Designer page (where you choose from the tiles) and it gives you this great breakdown including Entities
