I've run into something odd. I just updated the version of Employee Center to 29.0.2 in our DEV and TEST environments. In the TEST environment, since the update, we now have 2 icons for virtual agent
This isn't happening in DEV, which is odd. I can't seem to find where to disable one of them. Obviously, we only need 1 icon to launch virtual agent. To me it seems like an entry got duplicated but I'm not sure where to even start to look. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have seen this myself. Usual causes is because the VA can be added via Conversational Interfaces AND the Portal footer, AND the Page itself. Hence you may see it duplicated on a page:
1. Check if you have the Virtual Agent embedded in your Portal footer: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0714318.
Remove it from the footer if it is not wanted
2. Open Conversational > Home, Click 'Home', Click 'Add your bot to a portal' and the form will have an 'Active' field which you can switch off if required
3. Open the Portal Page in Page Designer and check if the VA Widget has been added manually. You will see it at the bottom right. See the section 'Migrate from the Virtual Agent Service Portal widget' here:
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-platform-user-interface/page/build/service-portal/task/confi...
Personally I would only set it using the Conversation Interfaces route, don't use footer injection, or direct page add unless you have a specific reason to.

After updating to Utah Update 3 I had the same issue. Apparently they decided to throw in a new activated Service Portal Agent Chat Configuration called "Chat Demo". Once I deactivated this item my duplicate chat bubble issue went away.
