Troubleshooting Topic Blocks

What is the best way to troubleshoot Virtual Agent topics.  I entered close incident in the chat and I received an error.  I want to know if there is something that I may have configured wrong.  I do not have NLU enabled.  Also I'm not sure if certain topics are specific to that setting being on.  I am very early in the VA process and an trying to navigate through so thanks for any and all help.

I entered "close" in the chat and the topic Close Incident popped up and when I clicked the topic the error below is what came through.

"I'm having technical issues and won't be able to continue this conversation."

Go to the topic itself from - Virtual Agent > Designer. 

Click test and expand the log screen, this should give you info on why it failed or a direction to troubleshoot,

Also note that the "close incident" topic is tied to an actionable notification, so running the topic on its own may not work. It needs an Incident sys_ID in order to update (close) that Incident.
