Virtual Agent Application Branding in MS Teams

Hi Community, 

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to brand the virtual Agent application in MS Teams? We would like to roll out VA in our teams environment but not being able to brand it is causing issues. 

 

If this is not possible, do you know if we are able to copy the VA application and upload it as a new custom app? I suspect this would allow us to add our own icons.

Hi,

The app can be branded in MS Teams.  It's a relatively new capability in MS Teams.  Your IT admin can upload the app manifest after it's been customized and made available to your own organization to use.  Please reach out to your MS account rep for support.

In terms of creating a new custom app, it is theoretically possible to create a new app and iframe in the embeddedable web client ($sn-va-web-client-app.do). This requires customization however to the UI page and allowing cross site scripting from the microsoft domain, and as a result is not recommended at this time.
