You can hide or delete the "X" button for End Conversation in VA.

I'm trying to find a way to delete or hide the "X" End Conversation button, because when the consumer clicks this button, it ends up ending the interaction and the status automatically changes to Closed Complete status.

Another problem has been the Attendant closing the interaction using the "X" on the tab where it shows the interaction number, which ends up bypassing the completion of mandatory fields.

How could I make you avoid these two situations?

The second maybe with a Business Rule?

There's no configurable option to hide this button. So no go on what you are asking.

This cross icon click in configurable workspace is ending agent chat conversation, Can we configure any popup on click of x icon which can present agents with message like 'Are you sure to end the conversation ?' with Ok and Cancel options so that we can avoid conversation ending scenarios when its clicked unintentionally by agents.
