Hi - i've been using decision tables for some time now and love them. i've only recently started using the decision builder and have come across a problem I need a little help with.
decision table with the answer table set to sys_choice
this works great and one of my use case examples is to set various field on case/incident etc, things like category and sub-category for example.
decision builder is great and i've had a nice experience using it but have come across a snag when trying to create a new decision table similar where the result is sys_choice, like the example in the first image.
when you press save on the table
my problem is that the documentation says that once the decision builder app is installed you cant use to old ui experience. >> see the Note near the top of the page. (Decision Builder (servicenow.com))
How can I create a decision table with a result that points to the sys_choice like I have done in the classic ui?
another problem i expect i will also have is selecting the correct answer from the choice table.
in the classic ui I load the answers > open the choices > use the filter to select the right table and element > pick the correct row. i dont see how i would do this in the builder.
thanks for any feedback.

Hi Surav, i know how to use decision builder, the problem is not being able to do something in decision builder that is available in decision tables.
-The problem is i am unable to replicate function which are available in the old decision table ui.
-The secondary problem is that once decision builder is installed you can not go back to the older decision table ui.
im looking for a way to create a decision table in the decision builder that lets me use the sys_choice table as the source of my answer.
-the third problem which may happen (but havent got there yet) is what i posted in my final screenshot.

Hi,
in order to be able to update the result columns you need to be in the global domain. At least that's the case from my experience.
However, I do not know how to specify an answer table, it seems that Decision Builder is automatically setting that and you can't change that. I'm trying to use a reference to my customer answer table but I'm sure there is a better way to do it.

Hi @Mehul6 ,
You can go to decision builder, double click on the answer table field to edit the answer table name.
