How to attach an excel file inside a notification which has a scheduled job

I have a report in excel file which I need to attach to a notification email and set a scheduled job to send it out to a group of users on weekly basis.

The question is how do I add an excel file as attachment into the notification or scheduled job?

Hi,

Yes, I used 'Scheduled Email of Report'.

You will need to select Type=Excel.

When you execute this it will generate the report you wanted into and excel file and attach it into the notification that you have scheduled to send.

Hi Mercy,

                          For this Requirement, You can go with Scheduled Reports ,under Reports Module in Filter Navigator. There you can add the attachment(Your excel file),Schedule it, Configure the Notification with User or Group, Subject &Body of the mail . Please check the below attachment & Share any queries if u have.
