HI,

 

I am facing issue,  RPA VM bots stop working when VM awaits for Windows update.

 

Please provide solution.

  1. Schedule Windows Updates: One of the best practices is to schedule Windows updates during a time when your RPA bots are not actively running. This can usually be done in the Windows Update settings, allowing you to specify when updates are installed and when the machine reboots.
  2. Use Maintenance Windows: You can configure maintenance windows during which updates are allowed to be installed. This helps you ensure that updates don't disrupt your RPA processes during critical operational hours.
  3. Monitor Update Progress: Implement monitoring and alerting systems to notify you when a VM is awaiting updates or when updates have been installed and require a reboot. This way, you can plan for potential downtime and take action accordingly.
