Hello all,
I have created a Neighborhood and added spaces to add and add a user assignment rule with a condition and executed the rule..but all the users irrespective of the rule and able to book the desk in the Neighborhood. Can you please let me know how does user assignment rule works to restrict the users from booking the desk in Neighborhood?

Verify that the conditions set in the user assignment rule are correct. Ensure that the criteria accurately reflect the users you want to restrict or allow. For example, if you’re using roles, groups, or specific attributes, ensure those are set correctly.
Ensure that the user assignment rules are in the correct order if you have multiple rules. Rules are evaluated in the order they appear. If a rule is set to allow bookings and is above your restrictive rule, it may cause conflicts.
Make sure that the user assignment rule is applied to the correct Neighborhood. If you have multiple neighborhoods or spaces, confirm that the rule is assigned to the correct one.

Hi Rajesh,
I have only assignment rule ..is the user assignment rule used to restrict the users to select a desk in a Neighborhood ? as per the assignment rule i have given condition as userid is my user id but still it allows everyone to select from the Neighborhood. Is there any step I'm missing apart from creating assignment rule?

To restrict users from selecting a desk in a Neighborhood using user assignment rules , it's important to ensure that the assignment rule is correctly configured and that the Neighborhood setup is appropriately linked to the rules.
Make sure that the assignment rule is active and not overridden by any other rules or configurations.
Also check any errors in the ServiceNow logs.
