Over the last two releases, we've rebuilt how Workplace Managers/ Space Planners plan and manage space, moving from scattered platform tables into one visual, map-first experience purpose-built for the this persona.
Here's what's available now:
- Space Planning Hub: A single entry point in Workplace Central that brings together spaces, workplace users, scenarios, space requests, stack plan and neighborhoods, with advanced filtering and bulk-edit across space data and neighborhood allocations.
- Visual Map Experience: interactive floor maps as the primary interface, with search, a live stats panel (total spaces, assigned profiles, assignment ratios, effective capacity, unassigned counts, area), color-coding by neighborhood or space type or dept or cc, and a lasso tool for multi-select editing.
- Direct Map Actions: initiate moves, update allocations, and assign spaces right from the map, without switching screens.
- Bulk Actions: filter-based selection by neighborhood, space type, or floor, with bulk allocate/unallocate and department- or cost-center-based user assignment in a single save.
- Neighborhood Management: create and manage zones grouping workspaces by team or function, with real-time stats, Space Assignment Tasks, and User Assignment Rules that auto-reassign space on a daily schedule as employees transfer.
- Contextual Side Panel: Configurable KPIs surfaced alongside the map for restacking, floor optimization, or capacity review.
- Scenario Planning: Create and manage what-if scenarios for office reorgs, optimization opportunities.
What you need: Workplace Core, Workplace Central, Workplace Indoor Mapping and Workplace Space Management for the advanced features
