Color-coded neighborhoods while reserving spaces

Hello,

We have a requirement to provide employees with a color-coded visualization of neighborhoods while reserving spaces. According to the ServiceNow documentation, neighborhood color coding is currently available in Scenario Planning and Location Directory, but not in the Reservation Portal.

Questions:

  1. Is it possible to display neighborhood colors in the Reservation Portal using out-of-box functionality?
  2. If not, are there recommended workarounds (e.g., Map Studio style rules, custom layers) to achieve this?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

1. No. You already answered that yourself. It's not available there.

2. Before working on customizing it, I would try to reach out to the product team to see if it's on their backlog. You may need to wait a version or two, but spending huge amounts of money and time to something they are working on, is a waste.

Thank you Mark! Appreciate your answer. Our company has been waiting for this requirement to be implemented, and we were hoping ServiceNow would release something, but nothing has come out so far. I completely agree that instead of customizing, we should wait for future releases.
