Place Type not updating in Dev instance after Space Type change on Space record.

Problem:
The Place Type is not getting updated in the Dev instance after changing the Space Type on a Space record.

Steps Performed

The below steps were executed in both the client Dev instance and a Demo instance:

1. Created a sample Space Type and Place Type record (Name: Test Place Type).
2. Created the corresponding Place Type Mapping record.
3. Opened a Space record and updated the Space Type.
4. Navigated to Map Studio → Manage Workplaces → Places.
5. Selected the building and opened the specific space.
6. On the right-hand panel (Place details popup), verified the Place Type field.

Observation

• In the Demo instance, the Place Type is updated correctly after changing the Space Type.
• In the Client Dev instance, the Place Type is not updated after the same action.

Validation Performed

• Checked Application Logs

  • Location: System Logs → System Log → Application Logs
  • Result: No errors found after updating the Space Type.

• Verified UI Policy

  • Path: System UI → UI Policies → Indoor Place Type Mapping
  • Result: Configuration and values are the same in both Demo and Dev instances.

• Verified Business Rules

  • Tables checked:
    • sn_wsd_core_space_type
    • sn_map_core_place_type
  • Result: Business Rules appear identical in both environments.
