Visitor Registration-multiple visitor records created for external visitors added in Outlook invite

Hi,
We recently installed the Reservation Outlook Synchronization and the Reservation Outlook Add-In, as well as Workplace Reservation Management and Workplace Visitor Management as part of the WSD Safety Management Suite.
Issue: When a user creates and sends out a meeting invite in Outlook Calendar, it automatically triggers multiple visit and visitor registration records to be created for any invited external visitors in WSD. If the meeting is forwarded to another external visitor later on, it triggers another round of visitor registration records to be created for all of the previous external invitees and the new one added. The records that are created all have created by System Administration, not the user who originally created the meeting. This was also causing external visitors to receive multiple, sometimes as many as 18 total per person, of the Visit has been confirmed email notification. We had to temporarily turn the notifications off so people wouldn't keep receiving the emails.
The Visitor Registration process is supposed to only allow users to Register a Visitor using the record producer or as part of a reservation in WSD not from the Outlook side automatically.
Has anyone else had this issue and possibly found a solution to prevent this from happening?
There is no information on the SN Product Documentation website about this occurring with these applications. We have opened a support case but haven't received a solution yet.
