How have other companies using WSD leveraged future dated seat moves without impacting downward systems that contain employee data, like HR?
Currently = We process move requests real time in WSD, even if the request is future dated with effective date. This ensures the open seat is reserved so no one else can request it but then the current seat is then flagged as open/available so other employees try to request it.
Downward Impact = Tax reporting issues for employees that move from one state to another state
Without going completely custom, has anyone identified an OOB solution for the problem statement?
