Workplace Service Delivery November Store Release live November 03, 2022
In the November Store Release, learn how innovations in ServiceNow® Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) are helping customers own the employee experience in the workplace, all while solving workplace challenges, such as space scenario planning and multi-building reservations. This release also introduces the new ServiceNow® Health and Safety package in a controlled Go-to-Market capacity.
Workplace Space Management enhancements
With the evolved expectations around how and where people work, enhancements in this release equip workplace teams with the power to visualize how spaces are stacked, review allocations, and create what-if building reconfiguration scenarios all in one central tool.
Workplace teams can leverage the visual stack planner to understand and experiment with different workplace changes, without impacting live layouts, for optimizing how space is used by department, floor, or building. The solution enhances the existing Workplace Space Management application and can be accessed via Workplace Central, a new centralized destination for space planners and facilities teams. It provides a consolidated view for optimizing the use of space and driving cost efficiencies. To access this feature, it requires Workplace Space Management included in Workplace Service Delivery.

Map Studio enhancements
With workspaces constantly changing to meet evolving employee needs, workplace teams must combat unfamiliarity with new office layouts by providing employees and visitors alike with helpful, intuitive digital indoor mapping experiences across various buildings and environments.
The November release focuses on delivering a simplified admin experience for configuring indoor maps. Enhancements delivered on the native mapping solution drive efficiencies and time savings for map administrators, including newly available features for keyboard shortcuts and copying directions between floors. To access this feature, it requires Workplace Indoor Mapping included in Workplace Service Delivery.
Key benefits include:
- Save time and automatically close CAD polylines while facilitating the import/configuration of files in Map Studio
- Improve productivity by using previously imported CAD files when refreshing a floor to suggest configurations
- Copy directions from one floor to another and display information to detect errors
- Configure what content will or will not be displayed in map view for employees and preview content before publishing
- Access newly available keyboard shortcuts for directions and places
Workplace Reservation Management enhancements
Providing easy, intuitive, self-service tools for employees is key to establishing a dynamic employee experience in the workplace. Employers must think about how they can empower employees to work in effective ways when coming into the office and how to build a culture where they feel connected to their colleagues.
Enhancements empower employees or team managers to reserve similar spaces simultaneously across different buildings, campuses, or sites while planning for an event or team collaboration, and auto resolve meeting conflicts. To access this feature, it requires Workplace Reservation Management included in Workplace Service Delivery.
Key benefits include:
- Create multi-building reservations for employees attending the same event or meeting but located in different buildings
- Schedule a recurring reservation in the portal, when occurrence is ‘conflicted’ it will trigger an auto-resolution flow
Launch of cGTM ServiceNow® Health and Safety product
As an extension of the Employee Workflows portfolio, Health and Safety fosters a strong culture of safety for employees through collective health and safety accountability. The package includes the Safe Workplace Suite, Workplace Case Management, and newly launched application Health and Safety Incident Management, which enhances safety culture and accountability of employees while streamlining investigations.
Key benefits include:
- Streamline routing and investigation of safety incidents, with the ability to create assignment rules, tasks, and checklists
- Perform complex investigations, collect findings, capture witness statements, and determine root cause
- Create and assign corrective and preventative actions to fix issues and prevent future occurrences
