Add a business role to a business actor

Add existing business roles to a business actor in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace. You can also create a business role directly from the business actor record to identify the responsibilities that the business actor fulfills.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

Procedure

1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
3. Select the expand row icon () next to Business Architecture.
4. Select Business Actors.
5. Select the business actor that you want to add a business role to.
6. Select the Business roles tab.
7. Add a business role.
   • To add an existing business role:
     1. Select Add.
     2. In the Add business role window, select the business role and the relationship type between the business actor and the business role.
     3. Select Add.
   • To create a business role, select New and fill in the fields on the form. For field information, see Create business role form.

Result

The business role appears in the Business roles related list for the business actor.
