Add a business unit to a business capability

You can add an existing business unit to a business capability in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace or create a business unit from the business capability.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

Procedure

1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
3. Select the expand row icon () next to Business Architecture.
4. Select Business Capabilities.
5. Select the business capability that you want to add a business unit to.
6. Select the Related business units tab.
7. Add a business unit using one of the following methods.
   • To add an existing business unit:
     1. Select Add.
     2. In the Add business unit window, search for and select the business unit.
     3. Select Add.
   • To create a business unit, select New and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see Create a business unit form.

Result

The business unit appears in the Related business units Related list for the business capability.
