    • Configure the opportunity-quote sync in CPQ so that a primary quote's lines are synced back to the associated opportunity when a user enables sync.

    About this task

    The opportunity-quote sync allows a quote to be designated as the primary quote for an opportunity. When a user enables sync on a quote, the quote's line items are synced back to the opportunity record. Only one quote can be the primary quote for an opportunity at a time.

    Administrators configure the sync behavior as part of the Transaction Manager blueprint, associating the sync action with the enable sync event.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > CPQ Administration and open the Transaction Manager blueprint.
    2. Open the Events section and locate or create the enable sync event.
    3. Configure the event to designate the quote as primary and trigger the sync of quote lines to the opportunity.
    4. Select Save.

    Result

    The enable sync event is available on the quote. When a user enables sync, the quote is marked as primary and the quote lines are synced to the opportunity record.
