  • The Knowledge module in Core Business Suite enables you to adjust settings for default knowledge bases. It also enables importing articles, or create additional Knowledge Base articles to support cross-functional knowledge sharing across business units.

The Knowledge module is accessible through the Configuration Console in Core Business Suite. The module provides centralized management of knowledge bases that contain cross-functional knowledge spanning multiple business units.

You can edit existing knowledge bases using the settings icon displayed next to each knowledge base. The default Knowledge Base, Core Business Suite Knowledge, supports cross-functional knowledge that spans business units and supports employee and supplier requests as added by the CBS admins.

The Knowledge module is available across all business unit modules under the Configuration Console. You can perform the same configuration actions for Knowledge Base articles in Human Resources, Health and Safety, Legal, Source-to-Pay, and Workplace Services modules.

Knowledge bases support the following capabilities:

    • Adjusting settings for default knowledge bases
    • Importing knowledge articles from external sources
    • Creating additional knowledge bases for specific business needs
    • Managing publish and retire workflows for knowledge articles
    • Assigning ownership and management responsibilities
