Acknowledge receipt of an asset received through the Zero Touch request flow

As an employee, acknowledge receipt of the new asset that you received through the Zero Touch request flow on a mobile device.

始める前に

To use your mobile device for this acknowledgment, you must have the ServiceNow mobile app installed on your iOS or Android mobile device.

Role required: User of the asset.

You can only confirm the receipt of hardware assets on a mobile device. To acknowledge the receipt of consumable assets, contact your Asset Manager.

手順

1. Navigate to My Items > My assets.
2. Tap the asset.
3. Tap Scan delivered asset.
4. Provide the asset tag information.
   • To provide the information through a scan, scan the asset tag of the asset.
   • To provide the information manually, enter a value in the Asset tag field.
5. Select Submit.

タスクの結果

• The state of the asset changes to In use.
• The stage of the requested item in the catalog request changes to Complete.
