複数テーブルのデータソースを有するダッシュボードを作成する方法を探しております。

以下のDocsにあるようなデータベースビューを作成する方法が思いつきますが、その他の実現方法はありますでしょうか？

that's correct.

If you wish to combine data from multiple tables then you need to create database view and then show that in report in dashboard
