Mobile App, is it worth it?

Hello colleagues,

In our company, we are currently exploring the implementation of the Employee Center, and along the way, we have considered deploying the mobile app for end-users (Now Mobile). The thing is, we are noticing that with the Employee Center well implemented and responsive on mobile devices such as phones and tablets, simply using any browser directed to the Employee Center gives us practically the same functionalities as deploying Now Mobile, and with branding already done effortlessly.

That's why we are reconsidering the need to deploy the mobile app since at first glance, we don't see significant advantages. What do you think? Have any of you deployed Now Mobile? Does it provide functionalities that cannot be implemented in the responsive portal? Any opinions and/or experiences will be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,

Hi @pespinar ,

I had developed mobile app in my previous org and it was worth it. I was using Agent mobile app which gives the feasibility to work on offline mode. Also We had defined the process like INC creation/change creation/Maintenance Incident creation. It was useful for technician to work flawlessly by using navigation and swap features buttons. it can be configure the required field to avoid the scroll bar. etc etc.

In a nutshell, for me it was worth it and i would suggest you to explore agent and Now both app.
