I would like to get some advice as to the best practice approach in configuring Network link or circuits per given location/site.
Our company predominantly use MPLS network links but some Locations do carry different connections like ADSL and 4G wireless router connections. some locations could have more than one type of a connection (e.g. MPLS circit + 4G Sim card router). We also have larger sites with multiple circuits for redundancy purposes.
What are the CMDB tables available (OOTB) for managing this as a seperate CI class. What is the industry best practice advice

Check this class , I can see good set of attributes OOTB which can capture ur data.
Also see below URL if it helps you

As part of TSM ServiceNow offers few additional classes to store network devices apart from network circuit(cmdb_ci_network_circuit), if the goal to load data to CMDB that can extend at some point to support network trouble management and other extended capabilities of platform for example there are different models using with network inventory can be modeled such as slot based, interface card based, physical connection, virtual connection and so on.
