PDI Instance - Maximum number of days in the waiting list before it gets assigned

Dear ServiceNow members,

I have done labs in the Strategic portfolio management fundamentals and implementation course from service now university. Now I want to practice on PDI instance release Zurich. It has required SPM modules whereas other instances does not have portfolio planning.

Typically, how long will it take to get a Zurich instance.

Regards,

Meher Krishna

Hi @mehergollam

Before Australia Release, the time was few hours like 3-4 hour.

But now a day , getting a new ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance (PDI) with the Zurich release ( or new release) typically takes anywhere from 3 to 5 days or MORE when requested from the ServiceNow Developer Portal.

Wait times heavily depend on provisioning queues and current demand.

Once your request would be added to waitlist , just wait patiently till you are getting your instance.

Hi @mehergollam

Don't worry—this is quite common at the moment.

Over the past few days, many community members have reported delays when requesting a PDI. In some cases, the waiting period has been 6–7 days or even longer, especially for lower ServiceNow versions.

You can try requesting an instance on an earlier release, such as Zurich or an older version, but there may still be a waiting period due to high demand.

For now, patience is the best approach, as PDI availability depends on overall demand and ServiceNow's infrastructure capacity.
