I know there are some documentation about the antivirus scanner but it does not say much about what it actually looks for. Is it based on an open source solution, an external vendor or servicenow handmande?
I would like to know what types of file threats actually looks for and if its updated based on new disclosed vulnerabilities.
We had 2 issues with this scanner, 1 time the scanner server was unavailable and the other Servicenow forgot to update the certificate.
This is one of those features that because says "antivirus" everyone seems to trust but what does it actually do and whats the benchmark when compared with industry antivirus standards.
