What is the licence approach to consider when having 2 SN instances one active in  DC and another one for DC stopped . can we share the same licence as there is only one active at a time. Cheers

When 2 ServiceNow instances access a single data center, it is advisable to adopt a licensing model based on subscription units. Upon the completion of the discovery process and the mapping of Configuration Items (CIs) and assets into the ServiceNow instance table, the primary instance should be regarded as the 'Parent.' The secondary instance will be classified as a child instance, which does not require the purchase of a subscription unit license. Instead, it is necessary to acquire an IntegrationHub license to facilitate integration between the two instances. This approach allows for the management of a single license for both ServiceNow instances.

Thanks Suresh. is this model applicable for a dual DC. one instance per DC with active/standby model and only one instance active at a given time
