Unable to extend sys_user table

In my Orlando instance, I am unable to extend the sys_user table. When I check the sys_user table, the extensible checkbox is false... Is this default feature in Orlando or issue in my instance?

Hi Arun,

I think you have done some customization in your instance as OOB extensible is true for sys_user table.

If its your client instance then raise a HI ticket to get it resolved.

I've just checked one of our vendor instances and also my PDI.

 

In our vendor instance the extensible checkbox is checked and thus the table is extensible.

In my PDI, the checkbox is unchecked.

 

Now, whether this is the default state in Orlando or just a peculiarity of the PDI, I can't tell you since the Vendor instance was upgraded to Orlando from NY, whereas the PDI was a fresh zBooted instance straight into Orlando.

If you are on NEWYORK release then it must be false OOB.

If you are on ORLANDO release then it should be true OOB. You might have done some customizations.
