I get that converting suggested application servers and suggested applications is useful where there is no out-of-the-box patterns available for running processes. Creating a CI class and discovering those CIs that you would utilise in service management process is made really easy.
But my question is - for all those suggested application servers that wouldn't necessarily be utilised in service management processes or those that aren't associated to a technical offering (for support group dissemination), is there any other benefit to defining these CIs?

HI @Joey9 ,
I trust you are doing great.
t's clear that defining CIs for applications and servers directly used in service management processes is beneficial, the value of defining CIs for those not directly associated with a technical offering or not used in service management might not be immediately obvious.
the immediate benefit of defining CIs for all application servers might not be directly tied to current service management processes, it provides a strong foundation for various aspects of IT operations, governance, and strategic planning. It's about creating a resilient and adaptable IT environment that can efficiently respond to both current and future needs.
