Asset CI assigned to Field sync

Hi All,

 

Looking for clarification for one scenario.

For example, if i have asset and for that assigned to is empty and if i am importing a CI from 3rd party integration for that asset is having assigned to data.

So, want to know, according to Asset -CI field mapping assigned to should be in sync for Asset and CI and from transform map we are receiving data for that CI assigned to field. In this case Which will take precedence. Assigned to data would be empty or will be updated with imported data.

'Assigned to' is one of the fields having bidirectional sync between Asset and CI records. So when the CI corresponding to an Asset record is populated with 'Assigned to' value, it will update the 'Assigned to' of the asset record also. The following URL has details on Asset-CI sync:
