Avoid unwanted New CI created during discovery (Disk, IP Address)

If discovery runs we could see new CI created like Disk, IP Address, Disk partition, File System ,Network Adapter, Router Interface etc.,) this will affect the inventory and reconciliation activity. How do we avoid new CI creation for those kind of CI's or hide those CI's. Will it be affect the relationship and collapse the CMDB Data if we delete those CI's.

Look into IRE data source rules. You should be able to prevent CI insertion on those tables by source.

Some of those CI classes (what I like to call child CIs) are required for Discovery to build the full picture. For example: Disks are needed to build the total server capacity.
I do suggest you set up long staleness metrics for these child classes, so they don't appear stale.
